In 2002 Rindipol SA purchased in Chojnice a heating plant belonging to Mostostal-Chojnice SA.
In the spring 2005, a new heating plant was built and a biomass boiler as well as two top spare oil boilers were installed.
Currently, the heating plant in Chojnice supports an industrial zone of the town.
The technology used in Chojnice made it possible to burn various biomass with moisture up to 60%.
